TSL Commissioner - Jim Hamric
Jim Hamric is a native of Spencer, Roane County, WV, where he went to High School and coached and was there for 30 years. During this time, Jim was active in the WV Coaches Association, serving as its President for five years. Also, he was a founding member of the WV Athletics Directors Association and an officer in the Little Kanawha Conference for several years. Later, he became Assistant Principal/AD at Parkersburg High School, from which he retired. He still subs at times as an administrator at PHS.
Mr. Hamric was also involved in the Mountain State Athletic Conference while at PHS as its Secretary/Treasurer and later became Conference Commissioner, a position he still holds today.
Jim and Margie Hamric, his wife of 55+ years, currently live in Mineral Wells, WV, where they are active in their community of Woodridge Plantation. Their 3 adult children are spread across the country, giving Jim and Margie places to visit. They also share parenting duties to their great granddaughter, Reese, who visits them weekly for a couple of days.
